Temple Blocks

Introducing our Temple Block sample library for Kontakt - a unique collection of five temple block recorded in an elegant Victorian concert hall located in Greater Manchester.

Recorded using state-of-the-art equipment, the samples in this library are crystal clear and highly detailed. They have been meticulously edited and curated to ensure that they blend perfectly with other sample libraries.

The temple block is a percussion instrument that originated in ancient China. It is made up of a series of hollow, wooden blocks that are mounted on a stand. The blocks are usually different sizes, with the smallest block producing the highest pitch and the largest block producing the lowest pitch.

Today, the temple block is commonly used in orchestral and contemporary music. It is often used to create accents, sound effects, and to add a percussive element to a piece of music. It is also used in traditional Chinese music, where it plays a significant role in the ensemble.
